Dreaming of Your Next Yacht Charter Adventure? Planning at least 6 months to one year in advance is always best, but there are also last-minute deals for those who like to be impulsive!

Whether you’re after secluded anchorages, vibrant coastal towns, or crystal-clear waters, here’s a guide on the best times to visit some of the hottest charter destinations.

Caribbean (November - July)
The Caribbean is the ideal destination for winter and spring yacht charters. From November through July, enjoy calm trade winds and warm sunshine. Explore the Virgin Islands, Grenadines, or the Bahamas—perfect for escaping the winter chill or kicking off a summer adventure.

Mediterranean (May - October)
May to October offers the best conditions for those dreaming of Mediterranean charm. July and August are the busiest months, but late spring and early fall provide quieter harbors, ideal sailing conditions, stunning coastal landscapes and a slightly lower cost for the same amazing experience.

South Pacific (May - October)
The South Pacific’s dry season is made for dreamy yacht charters. Cruise through turquoise lagoons in Fiji, Tahiti, or the Whitsundays, with plenty of sunshine and vibrant marine life to enjoy along the way.

Indian Ocean (April - November)
A yacht charter in the Maldives or Seychelles during their dry season is pure bliss. Picture secluded islands, calm waters, and luxury both onboard and ashore.

Alaska (May - September)
For the adventurous at heart, charter a yacht to explore Alaska’s glaciers and fjords. May and June are great for wildlife, including whale sightings, and the long summer days are perfect for exploring.
